Kelly Gordon superyacht captain and former chemistry professor - Yacht Femme

Meet Kelly Gordon, a superyacht captain and former chemistry professor Kelly works for two seasonal boats based in Chicago but started far from the water. She grew up on a small farm in Indiana. In 2004 she gained her master’s in chemistry in North Carolina and began teaching in the University. In 2007 she attended a wedding onboard a yacht and made a life decision to become a yacht captain. Kelly holds a 500-ton license, she has managed new builds and a few refit projects.
